Let’s get back to blogging!
Hi All, so August came and went, what a blur. Max and I spent the entire month in NY, three weeks at Camp and 1 week in Oneida. He got so big while we were gone. Eating ‘grown-up’ food, effectively crawling, ‘cruising’ around on the furniture. It was awesome to see him so comfortable with Grandma Maggie and Grandpa Lenny. I can see spending time at Camp in the summer becoming a tradition…let Daddy get some work done. With that being said, after all of the interviews came and went, Eric decided on Mayo Clinic… although yesterday he heard that San Francisco was still in the process of making their decision! But he is cool with Mayo. And I am really excited. It will be nice and COLD next winter, but such a better quality of life for our family… I won’t have to go back to work unless I really want to. What a luxury it has been to be able to spend all of this time with Max. We are so fortunate.
So sleeping is getting much better, every now and then he will throw in an ‘all-nighter’ for us, and by that I mean, he SLEEPS all night, no wakings! He is a good consistent two a day napper. We fill our days with playing. And Max even has yoga once a week. It’s a little bit of a joke, it’s at a tough time, 12:30-1:30 and after he smacked his face on the hardwood, after smashing into Jellycat, and got a bloody lip, we left class early this week. But more importantly, I found a yoga class that is for ME, and babies are welcome, they can play and do their thing and we can chase them if we need to. How perfect! Today we go to the library for a wonderful Children’s program called Mother Goose on the Loose. So with that I’ll adjourn and get our bag packed to go, as he will be waking shortly. I will get more pictures together and uploaded and then fill you all in on some more stories, there is so much to tell!!
