8 month musings
(this is an old pic from April, but very funny when I came back from the bathroom at the gas station)
“Oh Lisa” as Eric will often say to me. “Oh Daddy,” I wrote to Eric this morning… We have been having so many nighttime wakings lately. It seams that once you get a baby to sleep better at night, they get their shots, or they go on a trip, or they get sick, or they are constipated, OR they get teeth. Well, here we are at 8 months and two days and Max is getting his third tooth, a top one this time. Teething pain can be so non-discript, because you don’t see anything! As in our case, until the morning. Poor Max, he has been on tylenol and motrin so many times since May. So my crabby baby just got some motrin and a nice chilly teething bisquit.
So Max and I sit here watching the Tour de France. Hooray. We love July in our house! And are so bummed when it’s done
. You can pretty much watch each stage all day long from 8:30-11:30 at night. So if you need to take your baby to the wading pool, or take a nap with your baby, you can and not miss a sprint. Keep those riders safe….
I attempted to go to work last night for 4 hours and the hospital didn’t have me on the schedule, too bad for them; I got two hours of inconvenience pay. I know for sure I am confirmed tonight, so let’s hope I can get a good night’s sleep when i get home at 11:30. We should be good now, now that we can probably determine what has been Maxi’s issue the last few nights!
